1. Stay legal. Furmeet content is subject to laws from various countries which include but are not limited to: Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and France.

2. Be respectful.

   • Content that is spammy, racist, sexist, hateful, or discriminating in any way is forbidden.
   • Stalking, harassment is forbidden.
   • "Screenshot dunking", or taking screenshots of posts to repost, is strongly discouraged, and may lead to admin action.

3. Content policy.

   • The gallery and art sections of the platform are exclusively for creative work. Announcements/information posts, as well as IRL pictures, are best suited for your profile.

   • All content must be appropriately flagged.

     This is strictly enforced in clear cases such as gore and erotic content. Multiple violations of this rule may lead to account suspension.

     Other warning types should be used in reasonable discretion and are heavily encouraged, such as politics, religion, and other polemical subjects.

   • Tags should be relevant to the content. The use of unrelated tags in order to artificially inflate the reach of a post is considered spam.

4. Accounts policy.

• Do not impersonate someone, unless for parody purposes (Remaining respectful). This includes using other peoples' artworks without permission.
• Parody accounts must be tagged as such clearly in their profile description.
• Bots must be tagged as such, and bot owners must ensure they will have a minimal impact on the platforms's performance and user experience. All bots that include unrequested actions, such as reactions and replies without a clear trigger or mention, must have clear opt-out instructions.
• You may not use an avatar if it shows content that is listed to be content warned. You may not use a header image if it shows content that is listed to be content warned. Don't repost artworks without crediting the artist. If you have a link to their gallery, perfect, if only their name, better than nothing. Claiming other's art as your own may lead to account suspension.
